Mary E. McDaniel Boles , 97, of Center, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in Center.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. David Long officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Mrs. Boles was born December 8, 1921, in Center, to John Monroe McDaniel and Mittie Lawrence McDaniel. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. Mrs. Boles was formerly a member of First Baptist Church in Center.

She is survived by her children, Mary Beth Cassell of Center, John Boles and wife Nancy of Houston, Jim Boles and wife Glenda of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Ken Boles and wife Cecilia of Center; grandchildren, Mike Cassell, Christy Leyshon, Matthew Boles, Anna Boles Lee, Emma Boles Whitehead, David Boles, Alana Boles, and Mark Boles; 16 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a host of family and friends.

Preceded in death by her husband, Billie Bruce Boles; infant daughter, Rita Carol Boles; parents, John Monroe McDaniel and Mittie Lawrence McDaniel; sister, Wincie Rudd; brothers, Bill McDaniel, Dale McDaniel, Rex McDaniel, and Pete McDaniel; son-in-law, Walter Van Cassell.

Pallbearers will be Ken Boles, Mike Cassell, John Boles, Justin Lee, Jim Boles, and Jeff Leyshon. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry McDaniel, Matthew Boles, David Boles, Mark Boles, Carl Whitehead, Aaron Carey, Jeffrey McDaniel, Bobby Watson, and Mac Warren Lee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
