Mary Kathryn Carroll, 91, of Center, the wife of late Dr. T.G. Carroll, passed away Friday, June 10, 2011 at Twin Lakes Nursing Center in San Augustine. She was born August 11, 1919 in Venus, Texas to William Burchard Johnson and Mary Nora Hardin Johnson. Ms. Carroll was a member of First Methodist Church in Center.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 13, 2011 at First Methodist Church in Center with Rev. Joel McMahon and Rev. Carla Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Shelbyville Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Pallbearers will be Bill Carroll, Bob Carroll, Keith Davis, Bob Brown, Steve Benedettini, Jonathon Carroll, and Tem Morrison.

She is survived by:

Daughter, Courtney Davis and husband, Keith of San Augustine

Special niece, Jan Kathryn York and husband Gary of Williamsburg, Virginia

Memorials can be made in Mary Kathryn's name to the Lon Morris Scholarship Fund at First Methodist Church, Odyssey Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
