Marvin Earl Biggar , 61, of Longview, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021, in Longview.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 3, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation one hour prior.  Pastor Tommie Ferrell and Bro. Nathan Ferrell will officiate.  Interment will follow at Biggar Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Born December 24, 1959, in Center, Marvin is the son of the late Joe Neal Biggar and Lois Lucille Burkhalter.  He worked as a driller in the oilfield.  Mr. Biggar turned his life around while completing and graduating Hiway 80 Mission in Longview.  His hobbies included fishing and kayaking, especially in Arkansas.  He was a member of Tatum Holiness Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Keni Jo Biggar of Flint and April Campbell and husband Justin of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Presley, Kross, Kwade, and Kroix Campbell; sisters, Debbie Jordan and husband Marvin of Tenaha, Becky Walker and husband Tony of Joaquin, Mona Bowlin of Center, and Tammy Stanaland of Nacogdoches; brother, Cris Rhodes and wife Jeana of Timpson; lifelong friend and mother of his children, Carolyn Denby of Gary; lifelong friend, Michael Floyd; and stepfather, Charles Rhodes of Timpson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ovia Biggar and Lois Rhodes; grandparents, Marvin and Evie Biggar and Gilford and Lula Burkhalter; nephew, Bradley Rhodes; and brother-in-law, Terry Stanaland and Michael Bowlin.

Pallbearers will be Michael Floyd, Marvin Jordan, Jimmie Ferrell, Mark Humphrey, Richard Faucett, and Justin Campbell.  Honorary pallbearers will be Louie Faucett and Don Stevenson.
