Martha Graves Jousan, 83, of Joaquin, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport. She was born January 25, 1928 in Brookland, Texas to B.A. Graves and Amy Viola Jones Graves. Mrs. Jousan was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Joaquin. She retired from Joaquin ISD where she worked for 20 years.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, May 23, 2011 at Watson and Sons Chapel with Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Paul Silvey officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Center.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Gill, Larry Hennigan, George Doyen, Randy Shaw, Rodney Dean, Scott Doyen, and Michael Shaw.

She is survived by:

Son, Frank Jousan Jr. and wife, Beverly of Joaquin

Lance Jones and special friend Tiffany of Center
Dr. Dean Jousan and wife Heather of Pontotoc, Mississippi
Dr. Mark Jousan and wife Kristin of Center
Sonny Mawson and husband Brian of Kingsland, Georgia

5 Great Grandchildren:
Ethan Mawson, Bradley Jones, Erik Mawson, Cody Jones and Cheyenne Mawson

Also numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of friends
