Mark Lynn Hohimer , 71, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, in Shelbyville.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 2, 2022, at Strong Cemetery in Huxley with Bro. Kevin Windham officiating.

Born January 28, 1951, Mark is the son of Cecil Frances Michaelson and Fieldon Douglas Hohimer.  He loved to fish and travel.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hohimer of Shelbyville, TX; sons, Garrett Hohimer and wife Melissa of Illinois and Christopher Hohimer of Shelbyville, TX; daughter, Erica and husband Michael Nicholson of Illinois; stepson, Jason Ducey of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Calvin Nicholson, Marlee Nicholson, Emmett Nicholson, Stella Hohimer, and June Hohimer; mother-in-law, Bonnie Robinson of Shelbyville, TX; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Hohimer of Weatherford, TX and Mitzi Carrell of Shelbyville, TX; brother-in-law, Bill Robinson and wife Ladonna of Shelbyville, TX; special niece, Mandy Carrell of Shelbyville, TX; special friend, Cristian Valencia of Shelbyville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents, Cecil Frances Michaelson and Fieldon Douglas Hohimer; sister, Pat Lane; and brothers, Doug Hohimer and Jim Hohimer.
