Marilyn Kay Vaughn , 66, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 in Shreveport, Louisiana.  She was born June 7, 1947 in Pineville, Louisiana to Leo Buchanan and Helen Brown Buchanan. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Joseph Pemberton and Bro. Bobby Warr officiating.  Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.

Pallbearers will be Scott Schroeder, Tyler Schroeder, Garrett Schroeder, Tara Vaughn, Mitch Gunn and Rachel Gunn.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dudley Cox, Alvis Buckley, Royce Buckley, O.L. "Tootie" Hendricks, Jerry Cockrell, Steve Jeans and Larry Buckley.

Mother: Helen Buchanan of Pineville, Louisiana
