Marilyn Otto , 94, of Center, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Center.

Her wishes were to be cremated, and no services are planned.

Born March 21, 1931, in Lake Mills, Iowa, Marilyn is the daughter of Irvin Slattum and Mildred Field Slattum. Marilyn and Dale attended and enjoyed the Fellowship of St. John's Episcopal Church in Center.

She is survived by her daughters, Julie Rholes of Chrystal Beach, Texas, and Susan and husband Harry Stephens of Hallsville, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Peterson and Alyssa and husband Nathan Ray; great grandchild, Stevie June Ray; sisters, Marlys and husband Stan Nederhoff of Iowa and Yvonne Hestness of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Dale Otto; parents, Irvin Slattum and Mildred Field Slattum; son-in-law, Gary Rholes; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
