Marie Byrd Fleming , 87, a lifelong resident of Byrd Town, Texas, departed this life and passed on to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Nacogdoches Medical Center.

Graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center, Texas, on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jim Moss officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, beginning at 12:00 noon.

She was born on February 13, 1930, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Warren Byrd. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shelbyville.
