Margarito Mendiola Palacios , 86, of Center, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, in Center.

Visitation will be held from Noon to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 15, 2025, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Center.  Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Born June 10, 1939, in Guanajuato, Mexico, Margarito is the son of Francisco Palacios and Apolonia Mendiola.  He loved riding his scooter.  Margarito attended St. Therese Catholic Church in Center.

He is survived by his children, Maria and Estela, Cecilio and Maricela, Juan Jose and Margarita, Efren and Lourdes, Tono and Gerarda, Alejandro and Eva, Bertha and Delfino, Rosario and Oscar, Dario and San Juana, and Daniel and Nancy; 53 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; and sisters, Manuela Palacios and Catalina Palacios.

Preceded in death by parents, Francisco Palacios and Apolonia Mendiola; and four brothers and sisters.
