Margaret Whitten, 82, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 in Lufkin. She was born October 7, 1929 in Houston to Louis August Hanson and Ina Reed Hanson. Mrs. Whitten was a retired LVN.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 5, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. Edward McRae officiating. Interment will follow in the Patroon Cemetery in Shelby County.
