Louis Riley Barcelona , 66, of Joaquin, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Garrison.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Antioch Cemetery in the James Community of Shelby County.  Bro. David Whitehurst will officiate.  Visitation will be held at Watson & Sons Funeral Home beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Born November 13, 1958, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Louis is the son of Ronald Barcelona and Velma Lorraine Miller Barcelona.  He loved his animals, especially his cat, Kimberly.  Louis loved talking on his ham radios and playing the drums in the church.  He loved music and swimming.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Barcelona of Joaquin; son, Stephen Griffin of Center; daughter, Jennifer Windham and husband Dean of Center; sister Rhonda Galloway and husband Eddie of Foley, Alabama; niece, Jessica Cobb of Foley, Alabama; great nephews, Jayden Avery Hunt of Louisiana, Jude David Cobb of Louisiana; special friends, John Ross – his friend for 30 years and Preston Windham – who Louis would always call Papa.

Preceded in death by parents, Ronald Barcelona and Velma Lorraine Miller Barcelona; and nephew, Jeremy Dwayne Cobb.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Tuck, Jerrett Champion, Stephen Griffin, Vernon Champion, Dean Windham, and Steve Champion.
