Logan Joel Simmons , 6, of Center, passed away Monday, April 24, 2014 at LSU Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.  He was born June 27, 2007 in Nacogdoches to Michael Simmons and Sarah McCarty Simmons.  Logan was currently a first grade student at Excelsior ISD.  He loved playing outside, especially if it included swimming, jumping on his trampoline and riding his bicycle.  Logan's favorite movie was "Despicable Me" and his favorite song was "Happy."

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Steve Noble  and Bro. Johnny Lewis officiating.  Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Dale McCarty, Ronnie James McCarty, B.J. Williams, Terry Littrell and Bobby Alexander.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jaxon Williams, Jakeb Williams and Stephen Bentley.
