Lillie Faye Williams , 89, of Center, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019, in Center.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Mrs. Williams was born October 24, 1929, in Gilmer, to Roscoe Rutledge and Gladys Young Rutledge. She and her husband owned and operated a shoe repair shop in Center for many years. Mrs. Williams was a member of First Baptist Church in Center, where she taught the Five Year Olds Sunday school class.
She is survived by her children, Robbie Williams, Vicki Jackson and husband Glenn, and Debra Williams; grandchildren, Christopher Williams, Melissa Crawford, Robert Jackson, Jason Jackson, Scott Emanis, Marc Emanis, Micah Weems, Laura Wilson, and Jennifer Flynn; great grandchildren, Madison Crawford, Dawson Williams, Hayleigh Jackson, Justin Jackson, Max Emanis, Delaney Emanis, Hunter Emanis, Dalton Emanis, Colby Wilson, Allison Wilson, Molly Flynn, and Candace Weatherford; great great grandchild, Skylar Weatherford; brother, Terry Rutledge and wife Shirley; and daughter-in-law, Susan Williams; and daughter-in-law and special friend, Kelle Williams.
Preceded in death by her husband, R.F. Williams; daughter, Sharon Crawford; son, Mitchell Williams; great grandson, Wesley Weems; parents, Roscoe Rutledge and Gladys Young Rutledge; and brother, Arlon Rutledge.
Pallbearers will be Mark Ivey, Scott Emanis, Christopher Williams, Mark Emanis, Jason Jackson, and Dawson Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Jeans, Robert Allen, Max Emanis, and Colby Wilson.
