Obituary

Lena Faye Vaught was the last and twelfth child born to James Oscar Vaught, Sr. & Lena Francis Vaught shortly after midnight on Mar. 2, 1937 in Stockman, Texas. She passed away on September 28, 2020, in Nacogdoches.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Timpson with visitation one hour prior.

Lela Mae Vaught was born thirty minutes earlier before midnight on Mar. 1, giving the twins separate birthdays. Faye & Mae attended Timpson High School, graduating in 1955 & were known as the Vaught twins.

Faye married Kenneth Eugene Hendricks on Aug. 5, 1958.

Faye loved being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a fine Christian influence and helped many people throughout her life. Faye also worked different jobs through the years to support her family.

After the death of Faye's first husband, Kenneth Eugene Hendricks, she later remarried to Robert "Bobby" Benjamin Bolton and remained married until Bobby's death.

Preceded in death were her parents, James Oscar Vaught, Sr. and Lena Francis Vaught; 1st husband, Kenneth Eugene Hendricks; 2nd husband, Robert "Bobby" Bolton; One grandson, Franklin (Franky) DeWayne Blackwell; Ten siblings, Rachel Vaught Samford, James Eugene Vaught, Gwendolyn Vaught, Waide Vaught, Loral Vaught,

James Oscar (Shorty) Vaught, Jr., Maxwell Vaught, Johnny Jackson Vaught, Vernell Vaught Mckinney, and Shirley Vaught Fancher.

Survivors include twin sister, Lela Mae Vaught Minton of Center, Texas; children, Bobby & Rhonda Hendricks of Timpson, Texas, Lisa Hendricks of Center, Texas, Troyce & Emily Hendricks of Minden, Louisiana, Roger Hendricks of West Palm Beach, Florida, and DeWayne Hendricks of Timpson, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers please send donations in Faye's memory to Shriner's Children Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee

Pallbearers will be grandsons, David Hendricks, Bobby Hendricks Jr., Kyle Hendricks, Lance Hendricks, Dillon Hendricks, and Ethan Hendricks.
