Lawrence D. "PawPaw" McDaniel
, 97, of Broaddus, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, in San Augustine.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016, at Macedonia Cemetery in Broaddus. Visitation will be held prior to the service at Macedonia Cemetery, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Mr. McDaniel was born April 6, 1919, in Broaddus, to Elias Jasper McDaniel and Josie Horton McDaniel. He loved gardening, fishing and hunting. Mr. McDaniel was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by

Mary Broomfield and husband, Cecil, of Center
Bettye Lawson and husband, David, of Lufkin
Margaret Bates of Lufkin
Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren
