LaVida Jernigan, 90, of Tyler, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at her home. She was born November 13, 1920 in Center to Robert Johnson and Mary Holland Johnson. Mrs. Jernigan was of the Baptist faith.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. James Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Shelby County.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Wilson, Wheeler Wilson, Denny Mack Jernigan and Jimmy Jernigan.

She is survived by:
