Laura Odom Samford , born on August 9, 1964, passed away on March 10, 2025.

Celebration of life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.

She is survived by her two daughters: Rachell and her husband and Leslie. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: granddaughters Baylee, Nadalie, and Jolee; grandsons Austin, Rayfe, Ely, and Lucas; and five great-grandchildren: Koryn, Layla, Lynlee, Nate, and Kodi. Laura is also survived by her sisters, Gilma and Maxie, and her brother, Jason. She was preceded in death by her siblings Grant, Teresa, and Sharon.

Laura had a deep affection for her family, often expressing that she "loved all of her babies." Her passions included old rock and roll music, listening to books on tape, and watching movies—especially those in foreign languages, which she enjoyed reading through subtitles. She had a particular fondness for exploring Goodwill stores, often driving miles to find sales. Laura also had a profound love for traveling and cherished experiencing God's beautiful creations.

Laura's warmth, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
