Laura Braxton Griffin , 58, of Center, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at her residence.

Her wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Griffin was born October 28, 1958, in Center, to Jim Braxton and Bertha Ann Meyers Braxton. She was a bus driver for Center ISD. In her free time, Mrs. Griffin loved fishing. She attended Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Joaquin.
