Larry Scarborough , 74, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019, in Pasadena as a result of a heart attack.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2019, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Michael McArthur and Bro. Rusty Hall officiating.  Interment will follow at Wimberly Cemetery in Huxley.

Mr. Scarborough was born April 17, 1945, in Center, to Jeff Scarborough and Ruth Metcalf Scarborough.  He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber.  Mr. Scarborough was a member of the Houston Scottish Rite Downtown Temple, Dickinson Masonic Lodge #1324 in Dickinson, Northshore Lodge #1353 in Houston, and El Mina Shriners in Galveston.  He was also a member of Sagemont Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mozell Furlow Scarborough of Pasadena; Children, Jeffrey Scarborough and wife Melina of Alvin and Tammy Schnell and husband Kent of Houston; grandchildren, Kaeley Moore and husband Russell, Andrea Scarborough and fiancé Jared Byrd, Ashtin Schnell, Anastasia Schnell, and Isabella Pena; great grandchildren, Riley Moore and Tyler Moore; brother, Danny Scarborough and wife Judy; sisters, Deloris Sample and husband Donald, and Merlyon Chandler and husband Larry; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jeff Scarborough and Ruth Metcalf Scarborough.

Pallbearers will be Kent Schnell, Pat Scarborough, Phillip Scarborough, Richard Furlow, Sammy Furlow, and Harold Sabin.
