Larry Eugene McSwain, 64, of Center passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Center on January 20, 1947 to Eugene Roscoe McSwain and Fay Bush McSwain. He attended St. Therese Catholic Church. Mr. McSwain loved to play his steel guitar, and after his retirement he enjoyed his cows and music.

Rosary will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 with visitation to follow from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Watson and Sons Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Center. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Claude Lucas, Fredrick Morse, Steve Tinkle, Butch Furlough, Terry Williford and Jerrell Stanley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Herndon, David Frazier, Wiley Whatley, Gordon Mayes, Wayne Hagler, Jerry Robinson, Jeff Mere, Dewey Howard and Roscoe McSwain.
