Larner B. "Buddy" Davis , 78, of Timpson, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014 at his residence.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Rev. James Granberry and Larry Hume officiating. A military honors graveside service will follow at Ashbury Chapel Cemetery in Center under the direction of VFW Post #8904.

Mr. Davis was born August 25, 1936 in Logansport, Louisiana to Larner B. Davis Sr. and Mary Florence Pratt Davis. He served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1957 and was a lifetime member of VFW Post #8904. Mr. Davis was of the Baptist Faith.
