Kimberly Nicole Clowers, 39, of Chireno, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Houston.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Tenaha with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Bill Holmes will officiate. Interment will follow at Ramah Cemetery in Tenaha.

Born August 28, 1986, in Nacogdoches, Kimberly is the daughter of David Lee Clifton and Carla May. She was a simple country girl who loved everyone and would do anything for anyone. Caring for others brought her great joy. Kimberly had a knack for making everyone smile. She was a devoted mother and loved her children and fur babies dearly. Her hobbies included drawing, crosswords, and singing gospel music.

She is survived by her children, Adellah Lee Clifton, Lucilla Marie Clifton, and Larry Glenn Clifton; fiancé, Brandon J. Clowers; dad, David Lee Clifton and wife Shelly; mother, Carla May and husband James Smith; stepmom, Leslie Splawn and husband Robert; siblings, David Ray Clifton, Russell Clifton and wife Loren, Blake Trahan, Taylor Ridgaway and wife Tiffany, Gracie McGhen and husband Ashton, and Matthew Clifton; a number of aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, Lightning.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Emelda May, Glenn and Bessie Clifton; and cousin, Bobby Clifton.

Pallbearers will be Scott Pace, David Ray Clifton, Russell Clifton, Leon Clifton, Taylor Ridgaway, and Matthew Clifton.
