Kenneth Wayne Willoughby , 82, of Center, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in Edinburg, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2025, at Watson & Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Shelby County.
Born August 11, 1942, in Center, Kenneth Wayne is the son of Henry Clayton Willoughby and Tressie Alaf Byrd Willoughby. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Shane Willoughby and wife Sylvia, Shannon Willoughby and Phil Jones, and Michael Willoughby and wife Dori; grandchildren, Ryan Gray, Alan Willoughby, Justin Willoughby, Clayton Wright, Dillon Benefield, Justin and Sarah Moody, and Jazmin Moody; 14 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, some of which were more like siblings.
Preceded in death by wife, Rose Willoughby; daughter, Alicia Willoughby; son, Ray Thompson; parents, Henry Clayton Willoughby and Tressie Alaf Byrd Willoughby; sisters, Maxine Oswalt, Rosa Sepulvedo, and Betty Willoughby Chambliss; and brother, Alvis Willoughby.
Pallbearers will be Shane Willoughby, Shannon Willoughby, Alan Willoughby, Shelby Johnson, Clayton Wright, and Kevin Whitton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Borders, Nowell Borders, Robert Earl Jordan, Bill Currier, Ricky Livingston, Darin Borders, Curtis Eaves, Bubba Scates, Darren Wiggins, and Waylon Griffin, Sr.
