Kena Rena Ruth , 57, of Center, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024, in Center.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  Bro. Ron Luman and Bro. Richard Windham will officiate.

Born December 26, 1966, in Center, Kena is the daughter of Earl Windham and Frances Perez.  She loved reading, crocheting, and traveling.  Beach trips were her favorite.  Kena loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world.  She loved talking about Jesus and attended Woodlands Church in The Woodlands and Center Bible Fellowship in Center.

She is survived by her children, Frances Maldonado of Dallas, Jameson (Scotty) Hughes of Center, Latricia Flores and Alejandro Jimenez of Center, and Jacqueline Flores of Houston; grandchildren, Chloe, Jorge, Andrew, Rosendo, Briana, Aurbree, Ethan, Alie Jo, Ava, Ella, and Luci; nephews, Devin and Leo; nieces, Rachel, Layla, Ashley, Colton, and Sarah; great nieces, Harper and Lacey; sisters, Jeannette Biggars, Michelle Jackson and husband Cecil, and Shelly Porter and husband Jody; father, Earl Windham and wife Patsy; and mother, Frances Perez.

Preceded in death by sister, Tara Blue; and stepmother, Bonnie Windham.
