Keith C. Tamplin , 70, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021, in Center.

Graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Carroll Cemetery in Shelby County with Bro. Rusty Hall officiating.

Born August 27, 1950, in Port Arthur, Keith is the son of Henry Tamplin and Louise Carter Tamplin.  He was an insurance salesman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by wife, Linda Marshall of Shelbyville; sons, Jeremiah Tamplin of Beckville, Andrew Marshall of Shelbyville, and Timothy Marshall of Center; grandson, Clovis Andrew Marshall of Center; sister, Missy Martin (Tommy) of Houston; niece, Lindsay Terry; nephew, T.J. Martin; special friend, Hal Ross of Port Arthur; and special cousin, Kit Carter.

Preceded in death by parents, Henry Tamplin and Louise Carter Tamplin.

Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Tamplin, Del McCarver, Andrew Marshall, Lynn Beasley, Calvin Bartlet, and Hal Ross.  Honorary pallbearers will be Kit Carter, Keith O'Rear, and Johnny Matthews.
