Kathryn Burton Payne, 85, of Joaquin, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Green Acres Nursing Home in Center. She was born May 2, 1927 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Clarence G. Burton and Cora Mae Banfield Burton. Mrs. Payne was a member of Mt. Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church in Shelbyville.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Don Windham and Dr. Glen Molsbee officiating. Interment will follow at Shelbyville Cemetery in Shelbyville.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Payne's nephews.
