Kathey Fults Lout, 55, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born September 5, 1953 in Center to Raymond Fults and Dovie Tindol Fults. Kathey was a counselor for Joaquin I.S.D. and had previously worked for the Texas Department of Human Services as a social worker. She was a member of Dreka Pentecostal Church, and worked many years with the Empty Stocking Fund.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 16th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 17th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kerry Green and Rev. Eric Bartley officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
