Karen R. Jones, 76, of Center, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Nacogdoches.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating.

Born September 28, 1949, in Houston, Karen is the daughter of Oscar Alton Jones and Thelma Clarese Ray Jones. She worked as an LVN and had a heart of gold. Karen would extend help to anyone who needed it. She also raised Tennessee Walking Horses, which she dearly enjoyed. Above all, Karen was devoted to her family.

She is survived by her sister, Cherrie Burke; sister-in-law, Linda Jones; nieces and nephews, Dan Phil Jones, Alex Jones, Kimberly Bilanoski, Jennifer Grandberry, Carol Bradley, Nancy Nelson, Merry Grant, and Justin Hicks.

Preceded in death by parents, Oscar Alton Jones and Thelma Clarese Ray Jones; and brothers, George Alton Jones, Dan Phillip Jones, and Christopher Jones.
