Julia Elizabeth "Betty" Pigg, 82, passed away January 30, 2009 in McKinney. She was born March 8, 1926 in Corsicana, Texas to LeGrand and Julia Woods. She lived in many different places including Corpus Christi and San Antonio, but was home when she married Franklin Pigg and moved to Center, Texas. She raised three children and touched many others with her teaching and compassion. She loved Center, but left to be with the LORD on January 30, 2009.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Sunday, February 1st at Watson & Sons Funeral in Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 2nd at First United Methodist Church in Center. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

She is survived by three children:
