Judie Irish , 77, of Joaquin, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021, in Joaquin.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., January 31, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2021, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. David Long and Bro. Larry Andrews officiating.  Interment will follow at Joaquin Community Cemetery in Joaquin.

Born June 9, 1943, in Mineral Wells, Judie is the daughter of the late A.D. Cockrell and Helen Jeans Cockrell.  She worked as a beautician for many years and loved sewing, quilting, and traveling as a hobby.  Judie served with Joaquin Christian Services and was a member of Jackson Baptist Church in Joaquin, where she was involved with the Ladies Sunday school class.

She is survived by her husband, Harold Irish of Joaquin; children, Ann and Marty McDaniel of Joaquin, Kristie and Scotty Cummings of Joaquin, Barry and Regina Irish of Pearland, Sandy and Mark Anderson of Bullard, James and Tammy Irish of Pearland, and Laura Wilkerson of Pearland; grandchildren, Jeremy and Beth McDaniel, Zac McDaniel, Maci McDaniel, Holden and Brandi Cummings, Hailey Cummings, Sarah Irish, Steven Anderson, Jenny Anderson, Mason Irish, Haden Irish, Adam and Alana Wilkerson, and Amanda Wilkerson; great grandchildren, Kohen Cummings, Paisley Wilkerson, and Everleigh Wilkerson; sister, Sue and Joe Morris of Huxley; brothers, David and Betty Cockrell, and Ray and Cindy Powdrill of Tatum; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her grandson, Josh Wilkerson; parents, A.D. Cockrell and Helen Jeans Cockrell Powdrill; stepfather, Lacey Powdrill; and brother, Dean Powdrill.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy McDaniel, Holden Cummings, Zac McDaniel, Steven Anderson, Mason Irish, Haden Irish, and Adam Wilkerson.
