Juan Romero , 75, of Center, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, in Nacogdoches.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Born August 6, 1944, in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, he was the son of the late Angela Sanchez. He worked as a contractor in the poultry industry and was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by his wife, Zannie Hughes of Center; children, Teresa Whiteside and husband Michael of Timpson, Angela Hughes of Center, Wayne Hughes and wife Trina of Joaquin, and Larry Hughes and wife Tina of Joaquin; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and nephew, Tell Sanchez and wife Denise of Garland.
