J. T. Johnson, 85, of Center, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Shelby Regional Medical Center. He was born May 20, 1924 in Shelby County to E.C. Johnson and Tennie Windham Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a member of North Jericho Baptist Church and he served in the US Army from 1945 - 1946.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at North Jericho Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Vance Ethridge, Dustin Moore, Joe Chisenhall, Tony Olivas, John Chisenhall, Jarrod Johnson, Seth Mora, Jason Johnson, and Ryan Sides. Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus Olivas, Charlie Moore, John Smith, Eric Partlow, Timothy Windham, Anthony Barton and Dillon Hendricks.
