Joyce Ann (Buro) Rogers , 83, of Center, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, in Tyler.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Paul Gwinn officiating.  Interment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Born July 4, 1939, in Meridian, Texas, Joyce was the daughter of Wanda Comeal (Rayburn) Buro and Henry Otto Ludwig Buro. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Carthage and First Baptist Church in Center.  Joyce taught Sunday school class at First Baptist and sang in the choir for many years.  She loved classic movies, singing, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Carl Rogers and Becky of Center, Shelly Rogers of Center, and Edward Rogers of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Matthew Rogers, Chloe Rogers, Joseph Rogers, Lane Rogers, and Lauren Rogers; and sister, Janelle Drews of Center.

Preceded in death by husband, Y.W. "Bill" Rogers; and parents, Wanda Comeal (Rayburn) Buro and Henry Otto Buro.
