Josephine Mitchell Bomar , 80, of Center, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, December 25, 2014 in Tyler.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Dr. John Nill and Pastor Steve Noble officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

Ms. Bomar was born October 1, 1934 in Ilford, England to Henry John Mitchell and Esther Jupp Mitchell. For many years, she worked at The Lily Farm in Center. Ms. Bomar's hobbies included sewing and knitting. She enjoyed visiting nursing homes and spreading God's Word. Ms. Bomar loved time spent with family.
