John Richard Smith, 48, of Center, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009 at a Longview hospital. He was born February 5, 1961 in Center to John Smith and Ella Mae Webb Smith. Mr. Smith was of the Pentecostal faith.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Bro. Edward McRae officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Windham, A.J. Adams, Richard Windham, Marcus Adams, Donald "Doc" Moore and Anthony Stoker. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Smith and Stoney Whittington.
