John Brinton Hargrove, 24, of Shelbyville, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on May 4, 1987 to Johnny Hargrove and Connie Taylor Hargrove. John was a member of the Hawthorne Missionary Baptist Church and also attended Sunday School at Oakland Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Watson and Sons Chapel with Bro. Michael Raines, Bro. Larry Chandler and Bro. Kerry Green officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.
Pallbearers will be Preston Parker, Jessie Vaughn, Justin Hughes, Russell Stroope, Richard Sharp Jr., Devon McMahon, Allen Weeks and Mike Welsh. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Jackson, Jerrick Hargrove, Joey Lawson and Justin Welsh.
