John H. Elms, 85, of Joaquin, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, in Nacogdoches.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2018, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. A private family interment will follow. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. Elms was born April 17, 1933, in Haynes, Arkansas, to Randol E. Elms and Virl M. Hulsey Elms. He was a member of San Augustine Church of Christ.
