John David Adams, 62, of Tenaha, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Lufkin.

Private family burial will be held at Antioch Cemetery in Center.

Born September 20, 1960, in Center, John is the son of John R. Adams and Betty Lovell Adams.  His hobbies included hunting and fishing.  John was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Kasey Chambliss and husband Robbie; mother, Betty Joy Adams; grandchildren, Preston Chambliss, Christian Lewis Chambliss, Wesley Chambliss, and Emily Chambliss; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sister, Neva Joyce Dawson.

Preceded in death by father, John R. Adams; brother, J.T. Adams; grandson, Klayton Lewis Chambliss; and grandparents, Mr. Flint and Georgia Adams.
