John T. Baggett, 77, of Center, passed away February 8, 2009 at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. He was born July 29, 1931 in Carthage to Rufus Baggett and Zelma Spratley Baggett. Mr. Baggett served in the Army and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Tuesday, February 10th at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, February 11th at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Bob Baggett officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Spratley, Larry Spratley, Ronald Pugh, Perry Pugh, Tommy McMellon, Tony Pugh, Mickey Pugh and Max Pugh.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Anderson, Barry Irish, James Irish and George Wilkerson.
