Joann Hyatt, 68, of Huxley, Texas passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at her residence in Huxley. She was born November 9, 1940 in Edinburg, Mississippi, to Johnny Jackson and Lois Tucker Jackson. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hyatt was a member of North Desoto Church of God and a former member of the Toledo Bend Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas "Tommy" Hyatt of Huxley: daughters; Marla Morgan and husband Joe of Nashville, Tennessee, Jo Stone of Center, Texas: sons; Tommy Hyatt and wife Candy of Coventry, Connecticut, David Hyatt and wife Pam of De Berry, Texas, Rodney Hyatt and wife Tammie of Galena, Missouri; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; step-mother, Laverne Jackson of Shreveport, Louisiana; half-sister, Linda of Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, johnny Jackson and Lois Tucker Jackson.
