Joan Carolyn Jones , 85, of Center, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Nacogdoches.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Herman Cemetery in Center.

Joan was born April 15, 1940, in Waco, to Rayford Kibbey and Lou Ellen Lancaster Kibbey.  Her hobbies included cooking and eating Blue Bell ice cream.  Above all, she loved spending time with and taking care of her grandchildren.  A faithful member of First Baptist Church in Center, she enjoyed fellowshipping with her church family.  Joan was known as "Nana" to everyone.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Jones and wife Diane, Matt Jones and wife Jeanine, and Marc Jones; grandchildren, Carsen Jones McFarland and husband Wil, Caleb Jones, Katherine Jones, Joshua Jones and wife Whitney, Sara Jones, and Jonathan Jones; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Preceded in death by her husband, Neal Jones; parents, Rayford Kibbey and Lou Ellen Lancaster Kibbey; brother, C.M. Buddy Kibbey; and sister, Hazel "Sister" Kibbey.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Jones, Mike Jones, Joshua Jones, Matt Jones, Jonathan Jones, and Marc Jones.  Honorary pallbearers will Greg Gay, Buren Lowe, and Bobby Watson.
