Jimmy Ray Sharp, Sr. 54, of Joaquin, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at Shelby Regional Medical Center. He was born December 9, 1953 in San Augustine, Texas.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 4 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 5 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Hooper officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Evans, Lil Richard Sharp, Brad Stanley, Jessie Griffith, Cody Elliott, Jerry D. Maddox and Buddy Boyett.

Honorary pallbearers will be David Carroll and Doug Wilburn.
