Jimmy Ray Scruggs , 75, of Joaquin, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, at his residence.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Sholar Cemetery in Shelby County.

Mr. Scruggs was born May 2, 1941, in Joaquin, to Hervey Norris Scruggs and Syble Lorene Cockrell Scruggs. He served in the United States Navy.
