Jimmy McDaniel, 73, of Tenaha, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at a Nacogdoches hospital. He was born May 14, 1935 in Tenaha to Herbert McDaniel and Lois Settle McDaniel. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tenaha. Mr. McDaniel was a member of the Tenaha Masonic Lodge and also the Tenaha Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, June 6, 2008 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Tenaha with Rev. Russ Atwood officiating. Interment will follow at Ramah Cemetery in Tenaha.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Gibbs, Dennis Permenter, Ron Barker, Royce Perry, Billy Claybaugh, and J.R. Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Tenaha Masonic Lodge.
