Jimmie McNeil Lawrence , 78, of Logansport, Louisiana, passed away January 4, 2017, in Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Freddie Bird officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Joaquin. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon.

Jimmie was born October 5, 1938, in San Augustine, to William Lawrence McNeil and Gladys Poindexter McNeil. She married John "Tiny" Lawrence on September 14, 1956, and the two were inseparable until his death on April 14, 2000.

She is survived by

Son: Steve Lawrence and wife, Mary
