Jim Ann Taylor
, 95, of Center, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Center.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2014 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at First United Methodist Church in Center with Rev. Joel McMahon officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Ms. Taylor was born June 25, 1919 in Milam to James Samuel Taylor and Anna Rebecca Speights Taylor. She was retired from Center ISD. She was hired as the first band director at Center ISD and continued to teach for 39 years. Ms. Taylor was a member of Delta Gamma, the Shelby County Historical Society and the Center High School Hall of Fame. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Center where she served as choir director.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the First United Methodist Church Choir Fund, 211 N. Porter Street, Center, Texas 75935.
