Obituary

Jerry Dickinson, 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Shelby Regional Medical Center in Center. He was born June 19, 1932 in Port Arthur, Texas to Don B. Dickinson and Anna Mae Morvant Dickinson. Mr. Dickinson served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Shelbyville ISD School Board for over a decade. He attended Shelbyville Methodist Church and was a member of Sam Houston Masonic Lodge #32 in Shelbyville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, March 16, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. A funeral service including Masonic honors will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel. A military honors graveside service will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center under the direction of VFW Post #8904.

Son: Gerald Dickinson, Jr. of Stafford

Daughter: Susan Milford and husband, David of Waskom

Grandson: Jamie Dickinson and wife, Billie of Porter

Granddaughters:

Leslie Milford of Waskom
Shannon Milford of Waskom

Great Grandson: Corey Bedford of Pittsburg

Great Granddaughter: Hollie Bedford of Pittsburg

Nephews: Bryan and Michael Dickinson
