Jennie Gillis Johnson, 93, of Center, passed away Monday, November 17, 2008 at Shelby Regional Medical Center. She was born December 4, 1914 in Center to Walter Jackson Gillis and Mollie Walker Gillis. Ms. Johnson was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, November 18 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 19 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Ferrell Russell and L.D. Eddins officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Center.
