Obituary

Jeanne Marcelle Henry died Oct 9, 2014.

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him will not perish but have eternal life.

Marcelle was born June 28th, 1919 in d'Ecommoy, France to John Hendrick Roberts, an American soldier stationed in France, who married a lovely young French maiden, Marcelle Naomi Desmouliere. Hendrick brought his new family back to Center, TX, then to New York City, then back to TX during Marcelle's formative years. While A Texan at heart, she often reminisced of her New York days. Marcelle met her spouse for life, Fred Henry, at a dance at UT while she was attending college. They were married in 5 months and she devoted most of her life to being a wife and mother of three. Her style and social graces, her famous cooking and lovely needle work will never be forgotten. Most importantly, her faith in Jesus Christ allows us, her family, to be confident and comforted in her eternal heavenly destiny and of our future reunion.

We thank all of her gifted, loving individual care givers and the loving staffs at ComForCare, Sheltering Arms Day Care Center, and Compassionate Care Hospice, all in Houston. We are grateful for each and every one of the caregivers who gave of themselves so generously. Marcelle is survived by her son, William Hendrick Henry and his wife Ginny and John Robert Henry and his wife Debbie.
