Jean Strong Sorsby, 73, of Huxley, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at a Shreveport hospital. She was born January 31, 1937 in Joaquin to Robert and Clem Strong. Mrs. Sorsby member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church. She was a Past Worth Matron with the Order of the Eastern Star, Joaquin #903.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, November 12, 2010 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Wayne Bickley officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Shelby County.
